This knife set features a full arsenal of traditionally styled cutlery neatly packed within its own chopping block. This portable cutting station makes it easy to move your food prep area from countertop to kitchen table when space is at a premium. The cutlery includes an 8-inch chef?s knife, an 8-inch slicer, an 8-inch bread knife, a 6-inch serrated utility knife, a 3-1/2-inch paring knife, plus an 8-inch sharpening steel to keep edges sharp. All pieces reside within a slotted tray inside the 15-by-15-inch grooved-edge hardwood cutting board and are accessed by pulling out the tray?s drawer.Made in China, Precision knives are more affordable than some of Sabatier?s other French-made knives; however, the same care is taken to ensure quality craftsmanship. The blades are made of high-carbon stainless steel that are hollow-ground for easier sharpening and edge retention.
